What are the Causes of Headaches?
Written by MichaelZ on January 31, 2010 – 8:59 pm -What we refer to as headaches may occur very frequently in various areas of the head like for example behind the head, in the upper neck or ears. In addition, headaches are usually not taken as a sickness, but rather a an indication of another sickness. There are many causes of headaches and these may
also differ from one individual to another. Moreover, as in certain cases the treatment is
difficult, it is vital to rightly diagnose the cause of headache. Often you’ll find the headache is caused by a horrid ailment, severe ringing in the ears. If one can obtain some ringing in ears treatment, it’ll likely reduce the headaches.
Categorizing the headache is the first step that should be taken before attempting to treat the condition. The headache may be caused by tinnitus & if you can stop ringing in ears, you may very well alleviate the problem. There are several methods to classify headaches although the most well known method was introduced by the International Headache Society. There are three main types of headaches according to this categorization and each specific type tends to have a separate cause.
Primary headaches are one of the chief types of headaches and could be further classified as tension headaches, migraine headaches and cluster headaches. In tension headaches, the major cause of headache is physical or mental stress. It is stated that nearly 90% of all adults would experience tension headaches during their lifetimes. Compared to men women appear to be more prone to experience tension headaches. Migraine headaches are also a common type of headache with nearly 12% of the US population approximately 28 million people) experiences this type of headache. Although both of these headaches are very common, cluster headaches are rather rare with affecting only 0.1% of the population. The precise reason of headache in both migraine related and cluster headaches are not presently known. However, none of the above three headaches are life threatening.
Although the cause of headache in primary headaches may not prove to be fatal, secondary headaches might indicate a far more dangerous situation.
Secondary headaches normally occur due to underlying diseases such as brain tumors, meningitis, encephalitis and stroke. Therefore, it’s vital that one seeks medical attention when your headaches are accompanied with symptoms like seizures, continuing nausea and vomiting, and vision, speech and behavior changes. There is also another type of headaches called Cranial neuralgia where the cause of headache is inflamed nerves in the head and the neck. In addition to this, facial pains and other different headaches are also incorporated into this category.
It’s very important that the you visit your physician if the headache persists in a severe manner though you
might be able to get some relief in the short term through painkilling drugs like asprin or paracetamol.
Additionally, the painkilling drugs including paracetamol should be used in the recommended quantities as an overdose might have adverse consequences like heavy liver damage which would sometimes prove to be fatal.

Written by MichaelZ on January 30, 2010 – 3:14 pm -Do you think that you could fit in just a few minutes a day to start getting rid of that belly fat? There are some other ways that you can get rid of stomach fat if you can’t find time to go to the gym. How about an invigorating game of golf, or a fast game of tennis.
If your time is limited it is recommended that interval training be incorporated rather than a slower longer workout. By using this method it will be effective in getting rid of stomach fat.
To begin find 5-10 minutes daily for you to hit your high intensity workout. This will start moving those calories before they get a chance to turn into belly fat.
What is required is to get the heart rate up, give it some recovery and then get it up again. Skipping is a great way to begin your warm-up. By changing the feet pattern to double or triple jumps per twirl of the rope, or crossing your arms in front of you, or changing the speed of the rope, or maybe alternating feet, interest can be added to a routine. The only limit is your imagination. A good idea is to try and skip on the balls of your feet like you would see a boxer doing.
For the next 2 minute period, spread your legs slightly and from a standing position move into a squat. When at the lowest point of the crouch spring the legs backward to do a push-up, then back to the squat position and stand up. Repeat for the balance of the two minutes. When you are not fit this can be physical so begin slowly.
Go back to another 2 mins of skipping with an increased pace so that the heart rate is again increased and you may begin to have a small sweat up.
These steps can then be repeated for the entire time available or you could increase intensity by adding a side rotate when you are horizontal for the press-up. The upper arm will be extended towards the sky and this strengthens the core muscles. This should be repeated on both sides to keep balanced and your body working hard.
You could elevate one leg and then the other while you are down doing a press-up to increase the difficulty level. This really is a bonus for your back, abdominals and overall core muscles.
There are plenty of variations possible, you could jog between squats, or jump on a mini tramp or bounce board before finishing with some gentle skipping which gives your body a chance to recover. Get Your Abs Ripped
Written by MichaelZ on January 30, 2010 – 3:14 pm -To really make progress in getting ripped abs you will need to find the ways to lose weight that you can keep with and work out the very best for you. Elimination of the fat layer over the abdominal muscles is essential if you are to get that ripped look. The first step is to increase the activity level each day, this may be going for a walk, maybe a jog, and then some sport, or a program at the gym which incorporates both weight training and a cardiovascular workout.
Secondly, in order to lose weight, both the type and quantity of food needs to change. Filling the trolley at the supermarket with processed food is certainly not going to help weight loss. Fresh vegetables and fruit soon after harvest are the best purchase, along with lean protein sources such as meat, and also limited amounts of dairy foods will certainly help you achieve that ripped look.
As you lose some weight you will notice a lift in your levels of energy which will inspire you to greater efforts in activities that you may not have tried before. With a good exercise program and sensible healthy diet you will get the bonus of avoiding many disease and health issues that other people have to deal with.
Your enthusiasm for lots of activities will increase as the fat levels decrease and the abdominals begin to show. If you feel good and look good those big problems no longer seem as big, they will seem easier to crack, and all of those tasks you have been putting off will be finished more easily.
To enter into a yo-yo of losing and gaining weight can really unsettle your metabolism, it is best to avoid if at all possible. Slow and steady is a far better approach to taking weight off and should be done to a plan. The temptation is to hit the program hard and then give up because it is too tough and disagreeable. This lose weight/gain weight pattern will actually cause your body to store food after the diet is finished and you can often end up being heavier than before the diet started.
If you want to get ripped abs then the key is to approach this methodically and to follow a program which will help keep the weight off for the rest of your life. We would all like to see progress fast, but it is not the best option to start at a high level. If we are going to get a great physique it is better to begin quietly.
Big meals are not necessary unless you are involved in heavy physical work. Most of us are better off with small regular meals and avoidance of a large meal before bedtime is a must. Stick with healthy fresh food and keep away from that over processed snack food. Eat slowly to give your body time to feel full, and watch out for those second helpings and food left over that provides another temptation after dinner. It is suprising to find out how much that we are overeating. A good practice is to dish up our normal meal size and then cut it in half and only eat that.
