IMSU Post UTME Screening Form

Imo State University, Owerri (IMSU) has finally open doors for application to qualified students/candidates for the 2020/2021 academic session. 1st or second choice candidates who seek for Imo State University, Owerri (IMSU), Admission 2020/2021 should see requirements, Application Process and be Ready for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

Candidates Eligible for IMSU Post UTME/DE.

Candidates who chose Imo State University as their first choice in the 2020/2021 UTME/DIRECT ENTRY Application and scored 180 and above are eligible for the screening. In addition, candidates must possess at least five (5) credit passes in the relevant O’level subjects including English Language and Mathematics.

How to Apply for IMSU Post UTME Form.

1) All candidates who scored 180 and above and are yet to pay and register for POST-UTME/DIRECT ENTRY should go to Imo State University ICT Centeror Imo State University Microfinance Bank from Friday 13th November, 2020 to pay and complete their registration before the deadline date of 30th November, 2020.

2) Candidates who made mistakes on their form during the registration of their IMSU POST-UTME/DIRECT ENTRY should click the link at https://www.imsu.edu.ng/Validation to complete a validation form starting from Monday 16th November to 30th November, 2020.

NB: Instruction number two(2) are for only those who made mistakes while completing their POST-UTME/DIRECT ENTRY form

Every candidate must provide a valid email address and phone number.
All application must be filled and submitted online on or before the closing date.
Any wrong information given shall disqualify the candidate.
Portal opens 10th September and closes 30th November, 2020

How is post Utme result calculated?

The Post UTME Aggregate Score is Computed as follows. Your Jamb UTME score divided by 8(50%) + Your Post UTME score (30%) + 5 Important O’level Combos (20%). That’s altogether 50% + 30% + 20% = 100%. When you divide your Jamb score by 8 what did you get?

Can I do change of course after post Utme?

Yes, it is. Yet, I advise you do such change as soon as your post UTME result is out so that you can be prepared for the admission list in favour of the new course.

What is Post Utme total score?

UTME scores, where each score range has its equivalent point can be summarized thus, 180-200=20-23 marks, 200-250=24-33 points, 251-300=34-43, 300-400=44-60 points.
