Ponchatoula man, 33-year-old Brandon Pollet from St. Charles Parish died on Friday, January 28, 2022 after doctors say a second COVID vaccine caused an immune response that led to the development of an autoimmune disease.
According to Brandon’s wife, Jessica, who has kept her husband’s health situation and status updated through social media posts said her husband “had no prior medical history”. “After his second Pfizer vaccine, Brandon developed a headache right away then fever 48 hours after,” Jessica said.
According to Jessica, Brandon was later in December officially diagnosed with hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis, or HLH.
